All the Labor Day celebrations happening across Wisconsin

WISCONSIN — Labor Day weekend is finally here. And with it comes local celebrations that pay tribute to the hard work and contributions of workers across the country.

For many, it’s also the last hurrah of summer before school kicks into full gear.

Here’s a list of Labor Day celebrations happening on Monday across Wisconsin.

Milwaukee

The Laborfest parade will kick off from Zeidler Union Square — between 4th and Michigan — at 10:30 am on Monday, Sept. 5. The route will slowly make its way to the Summerfest grounds, where there will be a day-long celebration. That celebration will run from 11 am to 5 pm

Kenosha

Kenosha will hold a festival for Labor Day from 11 am to 5 pm at St. Theresa Festival Grounds, at 91st Street and 22nd Avenue.

madison

Laborfest 2022 will take place from noon to 5 pm on Monday at the Madison Labor Temple, 1602 S. Park Street.

LaCrosse

The city will celebrate Labor Day starting with a parade at 10 am It will begin at the intersection of Gillette Street and Kane Street, and end at Copeland Park. Throughout the day, the park, at 1130 Copeland Park Drive, will offer festivities and games.

Eau Claire

Complete with a picnic and prizes, Eau Claire will host a Labor Day gathering at Phoenix Park, 330 Riverfront Terrace. It will begin with a solidarity walk in the park at 10:30 am Speeches will follow at 11:05 am The day wraps up from noon to 3 pm with a picnic and prizes.

Green Bay

A Family Labor Day Picnic event will be held in the Bay Beach Shelter #1 and #2 from 11 am to 4:30 pm Monday.

Nah

Laborfest begins with a parade at 10 am It will start at Curtis Reed Square in Menasha and proceed into Neenah, finishing at the intersection of Church and West Main Street. There will also be a picnic at the Neenah Labor Temple that will go from 11 am to 5 pm

Oshkosh

In addition to a picnic, Oshkosh will also host a car show for Labor Day. It begins at 10 am in South Park, 659 W South Park Ave., with the picnic following from 11 am to 5 pm

Wausau

From 2 pm to 8:30 pm, Wausau will host their Labor Day celebration at the Wausau Labor Temple with food and live music. The parade will start in the evening at 4 pm, proceeding down 3rd Avenue to the Labor Temple.
