Dan Orlovsky Rips Green Bay Front Office

“Here’s where I am with all this. I’m sick and tired of hearing Green Bay’s front office tried. I feel like I’ve heard that for two and a half, three years.” Those are just some of the words that ESPN analyst and consistent Packer supporter Dan Orlovsky ended his NFL Live segment with yesterday.

The man who has spent countless hours defending the Packers from the hot takes of ESPN’s screaming heads has finally been broken. And like most of us who follow the Green and Gold, it was the trade deadline that did it.

Orlovsky’s entire take is extremely accurate and, at least in the eyes of this Packer fan, he’s earned the credibility to say it. Since the moment Aaron Rodgers showed some frustration with the organization, national sports media has been like hot take sharks with Green and Gold blood in the water. But not Orlovsky. He has been the calm, reasonable voice behind the Packers conversations. But, like most of us, he’s clearly had it with the front office. The day before the deadline he was on with Michael Irvin discussing how the front office had failed the roster.

Hopefully the Packers can stop the skid against the lions but it’s hard to see a path to huge success as the team sits right now.
