Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks rally late to beat Clippers | Basketball

Two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke to the media on Wednesday afternoon about the $ 228 million 5-year contract extension he signed with Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

MILWAUKEE – Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 36 points and sparked a 9-0 run to help the Milwaukee Bucks rally beat the Los Angeles Clippers 105-100 for the fifth straight Sunday.

The Bucks won for the first time in eleven games that season when they fell behind after three quarters.

Kawhi Leonard’s potential 3-point attempt bounced off the leading edge by about four seconds. Khris Middleton got the rebound and sealed it with two free throws, 2.1 seconds from the end.

After Leonard’s Springer gave Los Angeles a 4:01 lead, the Clippers failed to score.

Antetokounmpo has scored at least 35 points in four games in a row. He is the first Bucks player since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar from January 6-14, 1973.

Middleton added 19 points, six rebounds and eight assists. Leonard scored 25 points to lead the Clippers.

After seven points behind in the fourth quarter, the Bucks regained the 101-100 lead when Antetokounmpo made two free throws at 1:57.

The Clippers had the ball with a chance to take the lead three times afterwards but were unable to convert. Paul George missed a competitive layup with 1:35 remaining. Leonard missed a 3-point attempt with 1:05 left. George missed a 3-point attempt by about 44 seconds.
