The Detroit Lions will be wearing their Sunday best in the biggest game the franchise has participated in for several years. The team revealed the Lions will wear their white-on-white uniforms for Sunday night’s game in Green Bay against the Packers.
The white jerseys with blue numbers and coordinating white pants have brought the Lions good fortune. Detroit rocked the dress whites in the win over the Giants in New York earlier this year. They also notched one of their three wins in the 2021 season in their first time ever wearing the alternate uniforms.
Wearing all white in coastal Wisconsin in January could normally look weird, but there won’t be any snow in Green Bay. The weather forecast calls for temps in the low 20s but no precipitation.
