New and established Racine companies help each other local news

Any organization that wants to have a meeting on Social on Sixth can book their first meeting for free, Roehre said.

“I want the inspiration to grow here,” said Roehre. “I want change and community impact to start or build here.”

The first two home vendors Roehre has worked with are both local: Boards from Emmie LLC, which provides sausage boards for events, and Main Project & Cafe, which serves the venue’s “official chicken salad sandwich box lunches”.

And for Roehre’s grand opening, Roberta, a restaurant that shares an adjoining door with Social on Sixth, will be open so customers can visit both stores.

“It increases the water for our own community,” said Roehre. “When the water rises, every boat is raised.”
