Two men arrested in connection with Green Bay shootings last week

GREEN BAY – Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting last week that left two people wounded on Green Bay’s east side.

Neither has been charged. The second man was due to appear in Brown County Circuit Court Wednesday, but the appearance was postponed to Thursday.

Two people suffered bullet wounds late June 8 near East Mason Street and Lime Kiln Road. A caller that night reported a wounded man in the 1900 block of East Mason Street. Police soon learned that a man in the 600 block of Lime Kiln had also been wounded.

One man suffered injuries police described as serious but not life-threatening. The second man was treated for a minor injury and released.

Police have not revealed the victims’ identities.

Authorities said the shootings were the result of a dispute involving four people who police said are known to each other. Officers said they found evidence that approximately 20 shots had been fired; they also found a Glock pistol with approximately 25 rounds loaded in it.
