Wisconsin center helps women facing unknowns with pregnancy

KENOSHA, Wis. — Alliance Family Services is a nonprofit that offers services like free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, housing and connects mothers with needed resources at no expense.

It sees around 60-70 clients each month and has seen an increase in support from the community.

“We have seen an increase in support, people want to make sure women and families are cared for and have what they need,” executive director Ginna Cross said. “They want to make sure that they are not struggling and can get everything they need.”

Alliance Family Services also just opened a new maternity ward and they also offer parents a baby boutique.

“We have clothing items, diapers, blankets, everything you can think of that a baby would need,” Cross said.

The center is faith-based, but will be there for women no matter what they choose to do. If a woman decides to have an abortion, she will help her get counseling after if needed.

Alliance Family Services has two locations in southeast Wisconsin. Those interested in learning more about Alliance Family Services and the free resources they offer, click here.
