LaVerne B. Zirbel, 94, Shirley, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 25, 2023. She was born in Manitowoc on February 3, 1928, to the late Ormie and Leona Pautz. On May 26, 1945, she was united in marriage to Gerhold Zirbel at St. John Lutheran Church, Maribel. Along side Gelly, they farmed the Zirbel Dairy Farm and raised their children. She and Gelly enjoyed traveling across the country in their RV. Her infectious giggle and love of music will live on in all that knew her. She is survived by her children; Ginny (Paul) Falck, Hank (Sandy) Zirbel, Betty (Loren “Red”) Ashley, Mike (Sandi) Zirbel, Dennis (Mary) Zirbel, Leon (Mary) Zirbel, Russ (fiancé Brenda) Zirbel, and Jackie (Ervin ) Zeamer. grandchildren; Brian (Annie) Falck, Bob (Lisa) Falck, Beverly Leiterman, Andrea (Mark) Hendricks, Chad (Karen) Zirbel, Scott (Jen) Zirbel, Connie (Mark Bucher) Ashley, Chelsea (Kris) Scheider, Jordan (Alyssa) Zirbel, Noah (Linsey) Zirbel, Jeremy (Holly) Zirbel, Joe (Jen) Zirbel, Jeff (Cassie) Zirbel, Jesse (Taylor) Zirbel, Adam (Jacqi) Zirbel, Alex (Jessica) Zirbel, Andy Zirbel, Chloe (Chris ) Winkler, Zachary (Alicia) Zirbel, Kyle (Katie) Zeamer, and Luke (Courtney) Zeamer. Her Great grandchildren; Emily & Ben, Katelyn (Nick), Michael (Kylynn), Taylor, Brandon (Ashley), Ashley, Kadin and Jada, Morgan (Jacob), Madeline, Koen & Braylen, Mason & Grant, Owen, Olivia & Evelyn, Natalie ( fiancé Sam), Paige, Brayden, & Brylie, Paige, Lexie, Hunter, & Elliana, Joshua Audrey & Harper, Hadley, Bailey & Declan, Clay & Adalyn, Allie & Vivian, Kyia & Mak , Mila, Austin, Oliver, Liam , Blake, Cameron, and Elijah. Her two great great grandchildren; Lane & Leightyn. Sister-in-law Marie Meyer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews survive her. LaVerne was preceded in death by husband Gerhold, her parents, great granddaughter Brooklynn Zeamer, as well as members of Gerhold’s family. Friends may call from 9:00AM – 10:45AM on Friday February 3, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3735 Shirley Rd.
