GREEN BAY, Wisconsin (WBAY) – Green Bay Police Department investigators are investigating an incident in which one person was killed and another injured.
Officials tell Action 2 News that they were called to a duplex on Imperial Lane shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The address is on the east side of the city, near the intersection of Imperial Lane and Winter Lane.
The call was for a disturbance and officials said they had been asked to check the welfare of the people in the semi-detached house.
Lt. Brad Strouf tells us that the officers found one person with “significant” injuries and one dead.
The investigators did not reveal whether weapons were used and they did not provide any information about the people involved.
Lt. Strouf says police believe there is no danger to the community and that the incident was limited to the Imperial Lane crime scene.
The investigators should be on site until Friday morning. The police expect more details on Friday or Saturday.
