WATCH: Aaron Rodgers Orchestrates Green Bay Packers’ Long Sprinting TD From the Sidelines While Giving an Interview

The Green Bay Packers had an absolute blast at their second preseason game. As it was in Lambeau Field with thousands of roaring Wisconsin natives, they showed up and won in style. But the special moment was the crazy 51-yard sprint score by QB Danny Etling. The touchdown even had Aaron Rodgers all excited while giving an interview on the sidelines.

The moment occurred when Aaron Rodgers appeared on the Packers TV Network broadcast. He praised Etling’s physical prowess and recalled one of his long TD runs with the New England Patriots. On a third-and-1, QB Danny cut to the right and outran the entire Saints defense for a 51-yard touchdown sprint.

Aaron Rodgers is PUMPED!

Aaron Rodgers was still answering questions on the live broadcast when Danny Etling sprinted for the score and leaped over the end-zone stands. The QB1 hollered in excitement, “What did I tell ya? What did I tell ya?” He then smiled and said, “Yeah babe, I love it. I love it!” To add more to the turmoil, the Packers on Twitter shared their QB1’s mid-interview reaction.

It would be a spectacular moment for the third-string QB, who made a statement after completing a thrilling play. Rodgers must have high expectations from the roster, and the touchdown would inevitably make him enthusiastic.

Interestingly, the 51-yard score is recognizable to Danny Etling’s 86 yards touchdown score when he was in the Patriots. He ran a naked bootleg to his right to make the score against the Giants. Safe to say, the QB aced himself in the skill.

If one thinks that the Danny Etling score was the highlight, they have more to go through. Even Jordan Love made wise choices after connecting a touchdown pass to fourth-round rookie select Romeo Doubs. It happened for the second time in a row. The two scores made it easy for Green Bay to take down the visiting team, 20-10.

In defence, LB Ray Wilborn led the Team in tackles with seven total stops, including one on a scramble by Saints rookie QB Ian Book, who played the entire game. The Packers also had an interception from recently signed S Micah Abernathy. John Parker Romo of the Saints missed a 35-yard field goal wide left. Etling eventually aced to seal the victory. As the regular season approaches, Packers enthusiasts would feel more assured about the team.
