MADISON, Wisconsin – One person died Saturday afternoon after a crash on I-39/90 near Madison.
According to the Department of Transportation, the crash occurred on I-39 heading south at 4:25 p.m.
A press release said a car was parked on the right shoulder with a driver behind the wheel when another car in the right lane approached and hit the driver as he got out.
The driver of the car in the right lane was not injured.
