Milwaukee Police responded to an accident involving three vehicles near the 76th and Congress on June 5.

A witness told police that she saw a man hobble out of a car with a child in each arm. The witness described the children as “crying and screaming in pain”. The complaint states that the witness called out to the man, “Take these babies to the hospital,” but he jumped into a van and fled.

An officer checked the car and found blood, pacifiers and diapers in the back seat. According to the complaint, there were no properly secured car seats inside.

The police later spoke to one of the victims. It was later discovered that he and two women were involved in a brawl at an assisted living facility. He left after the fight – but noticed a vehicle following him. The complaint states that the vehicle accelerated behind him. He said he intentionally drove into oncoming traffic to avoid the vehicle, but it didn’t work and the vehicle crashed into him.

The ad said a woman and a man assaulted the victim. The victim described being once put in a stranglehold by the man. When the attack stopped, one of the people in the victim’s vehicle fled.

A woman later arrived in Children’s Wisconsin and said her children were injured in an accident. The woman reportedly matched the description of one woman involved in the attack and was identified as Williams. Williams arrived at the hospital with a man who has since been identified as Dickerson.

According to the complaint, Williams told police she was in her vehicle prior to the incident involving Dickerson and three children. Williams told police that Bowie called and asked for help after arguing with the potential attack victim.

Williams said she spoke to Bowie on the phone and caught up with the possible victim of the attack near the 76th and Hampton and the cars stalled near the 76th and Congress. The complaint states that Williams said Dickerson got out of the car, chased the victim and there was a brawl.
