The Green Bay Gamblers defeated the Madison Capitols 6-3 on Saturday.
Five goals were scored in the second period, and the Gamblers led 3-2 going in to the third period.
The Gamblers increased the lead to 4-2 within the first minute of the third period when Eli Sebastian beat the goalie, assisted by Michael DeAngelo.
The Gamblers increased the lead to 5-2 early into the third when Barrett Hall netted one, assisted by Raimonds Vitolins and Matthew DiMarsico.
The Capitols narrowed the gap to 5-3 early in the third when Andrew Kuzma found the back of the net, assisted by Quinn Finley and Sam Frandina.
Matthew DiMarsico increased the lead to 6-3 seven minutes later, assisted by Barrett Hall and Raimonds Vitolins.
The teams will soon play again in the next matchup on Wednesday at 7:05 pm CST at Resch Center.
