Jane Catherine (Meyer) Ebener

Jane Catherine (Meyer) Ebener died at her home on January 5, 2022.

She was born on February 15, 1936 to the late William M. Meyer and Marie (Heller) Meyer. Jane graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School and Mary D. Bradford High School. She also attended the Misericordia School of Nursing in Milwaukee. She was at Kenosha Memorial Hospital, Dynamatic Corp. and worked at the Parkside Child Care Center.

On March 28, 1959, she was married to Alfred W. Ebener in Kenosha. They were married 62 years.

She enjoyed raising her family and was proud of her children and many of their accomplishments. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their school, sports and music events. They brought her so much happiness. The family holidays in Eagle River were also very special for them.

Along with her husband Alfred; she is survived by her two sons: Gregory Walter Ebener and Brian Scott Ebener; their two daughters: Lisa Mary Ashmus and Pamela Jane (Michael) Primmer. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Janey Marie (Jonathan) Bukofzer, Karly Patricia Ebener, Leah Catherine Ebener, Melanie Jane Ebener, Kyle Jeffrey Ashmus, Brett Patrick Ashmus, Nicole Mary Ashmus, and Blake Andrew Primmer. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren: Adrianna Jane De Brocke, Henry Gregory Bukofzer, and Theo Paul Bukofzer; she is survived by her sister Bernadette E. (Vernon) Menden of Hales Corners, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death; two brothers, William J. Meyer and Theodore J. Meyer; her sister Mary Lou Terry; and two nephews, Michael W. Terry and Jeffery L. Terry.

A funeral service will be held in honor of Jane’s life on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home Dräger-Langendorf. Relatives and friends are invited to gather with family on Saturday from 10:00 am until the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hospice Alliance, 1220 Prairie Ridge Boulevard, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 would be appreciated.
