Jay Corbett Obituary – Green Bay Press-Gazette

Jay Robert Corbett, 59, Green Bay, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022. He was born February 22, 1963, in Chicago, Il to James and Beverly (Rubens) Corbett. Jay graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School. After graduation Jay went onto serve in the US Navy from 1986 – 1990. He spent time on the USS Kansas City. Jay worked for many different places over the years but most recently was a security guard at Oneida Casino. Jay was a big sports fan and loved all the Chicago teams, Bulls, Blackhawks, Bears and of course the Cubs. He also loved going to many Packer games with his brother Jim. Jay was an avid softball player and played for more than 35 years. Jay also enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia and sports cards. He is survived by siblings, Jimmy (Brenda) Corbett, Mike (Stacey) Corbett; nieces and nephew, Emma and Gracie Corbett, Jordan Corbett, Mayson (Brandon) Carlo; great niece, Wren Carlo; along with many other family and friends. Jay was preceded in death by his parents James and Beverly. Friends and family will gather for a Celebration of Jay’s Life at Townline Pub and Grill, 2544 Lineville Rd., on Saturday, October 22, from 4 pm to 7 pm To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
