Kenosha animal portrait artist Mary Kessenich will be performing at 1551 45th Ave. on October 9th and 10th, 10 am-3pm.
Kessenich, owner of The Cat’s Glass, paints cats and over 35 dog breeds on wine glasses with and without stems, cups with feet and coffee mugs. On request, she can also create custom-made products from photos.
All sales proceeds will be used to support Kindred Kitties.
Kessenich is a volunteer for Kindred Kitties, a no-kill rescue organization that finds a home for homeless cats at 614 59th Street. She founded The Cat’s Glass to raise funds for Kindred Kitties.
Kessenich said she was planning the event “to make up for the (fundraising) opportunities lost due to the cancellation of events this year due to COVID-19.”
