Kenosha Creative Space Announces Partnership with Plywood People | Local News I Racine County Eye

On Monday, Kenosha Creative Space announced The Path business accelerator program in partnership with Atlanta-based Plywood People.

Through the local subsidiary of this national program, members of the Kenosha Creative Space and selected program applicants from the Kenosha region have the opportunity to launch or develop their business idea in community with other like-minded entrepreneurs.

The Path Program is a business accelerator to support social and creative businesses. Relieved
by Jeff Shinabarger, founder of Plywood People, the Path Program offers a 7-week curriculum with
proven problem solving techniques in the early stages of business development. Kenosha Creative
Space will complement this curriculum with a year-long mentoring and accountability process.

Kenosha Creative Space will kick off the program on October 18, 2021 with an open event welcoming
Participants and celebrate Kenosha’s broad community of mentors and sources of small business support. The program runs for seven weeks from November, with mentoring relationships and check-ins until November 2022. Interested applicants and mentors should contact the Kenosha Creative Space before September 15, 2021.

This program serves the core task of the Kenosha Creative Space to expand the creative industries of Kenosha,
and to support artists and other entrepreneurs in building our collaborative community for the
Developing sustainable and profitable businesses with a purpose.

The membership of the Kenosha Creative Space in the Path program is generously supported by
the University of Wisconsin System Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship.
