Kraus-Anderson Construction opening new office in Milwaukee

Kraus-Anderson Construction expands its presence and opens a new office in Milwaukee. The company has named Mike Timmers as Director of Operations. A location for the Milwaukee office has not yet been determined.

Kraus-Anderson’s long history of construction projects in east-southeast Wisconsin and the Milwaukee-Chicago area dates back to the 1950s and 60s when the company established the Bayshore Shopping Center in Milwaukee; Grocery stores for Red Owl (with multiple locations in Wisconsin and Chicago) and facilities for businesses from Wisconsin Foods (Sturgeon Bay) to Bankers Mutual Life (Freeport, Illinois).

Over the past several years, KA has carried out a number of notable projects for a number of commercial and government markets in the region. Projects include renovating the FBI Field Office in Milwaukee; a tenant fit-out for Strang Architects in Madison, the first WELL-certified project in Wisconsin; and Monarch Health in Madison, an addiction clinic that offers a unique model for treating opioid addiction. KA has also done several projects for regular customers including Room and Board, Pick ‘n Save, Scheels, Cabela’s, Fidelity Investments, Verizon, Lowes, Wilde Automotive, Home Run Auto Group and Lupient Automotive Group. Current projects in the area include an adaptive recycling project for Winston-Knolls Schools, a school for students with autism in Elgin, Illinois.
