Milwaukee man goes to prison for drug-fueled chase after partying with Xanax for his birthday | Crime and Courts

Danni Geyer (42) from Milwaukee sat in the car with Nero, who allegedly told the police that Nero had fled because he knew he had an arrest warrant.

Kenosha County sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a Chevrolet Impala on I-94 northbound in Somers at around 3:15 p.m. after seeing that the passenger was not wearing a seat belt, according to Kenosha’s criminal complaint.

The Impala driver fled at speeds of up to 150 km / h and drove past vehicles on his shoulder at least once.

The Kenosha MP ended the chase when the Impala entered Racine County.

The pursuit has been started by the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, the Mount Pleasant Police Department, the Sturtevant Police Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Spike strips were then deployed along Highway 20.

After hitting the spike strip, the Impala tires were empty, but the car kept going. It turned north on Oakes Road in Mount Pleasant and drove through a cul-de-sac into a field where it got stuck.

After Nero and Geyer established a perimeter with the help of the K-9 unit of the Sturtevant Police Department, they were “taken into custody without further incident.”

According to the criminal complaint, both admitted using heroin / fentanyl and Xanax while celebrating Nero’s birthday while on a trip to Chicago.
