Old Dominion Freight Line hosts job fair for Milwaukee and Kenosha service centers March 20

The leading freight forwarder with less than truckload will hire 17 full-time employees to support its growing business, including 10 CDL Class A truck drivers.

WHAT

Old Dominion Freight Line, one of the largest freight forwarders in North America, is hosting a personal job fair at its Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility that recruits 17 full-time employees, including 10 Class A CDL truck drivers. Its service centers in Kenosha and Milwaukee. The vacancies are designed to meet anticipated demand driven by business growth in the southeastern region of Wisconsin. Management will conduct on-site interviews and make hiring decisions, although truck driver applicants may have to return for a second round or road test.

All participants will undergo a temperature check upon arrival and should bring a physical copy of their résumé. Old Dominion asks all applicants to wear a mask and interviews will be conducted according to social distancing guidelines.

WHY

Old Dominion is hiring 10 truck drivers through March to provide additional support for the growing business needs in Milwaukee and Kenosha. On March 4, OD announced that more than 800 CDL Class A truck drivers would be hired nationwide to meet business growth. In some cases, Class A CDL drivers may receive a sign-up bonus of $ 5,000.
