‘Somebody took my sister away from me and that’s not fair’ | Loved ones mourn the woman who was killed in Racine last week | Crime and Courts

Grow up

As a young child, Tony remembers his sister for her infectious smile, the number of friends she had, and the ability to cheer everyone in the room.

“She always had friends when she left,” Tony said. “She had sisters and brothers by her side forever. She has had some friends since she was 5 years old. “

Since she was so personable, Tony said she was also the loudest in the room; he was grateful for it.

The siblings used to break out into songs, play duets, whether in the shop or in the car after a long day.

When Tony was in school, his sister came to his sporting events and was the loudest to cheer him on, apart from her parents of course.

“She always had something to say, and usually she was right,” Tony said. “There was nobody but her who could beat me in an argument. Until today I would lose any argument with her. “

As siblings, Tony and Becky had their moments when they got on each other’s nerves, but he knew it was just out of love.

“I really don’t have bad memories of my sister,” Tony said. “Apart from the fact that she beat me up playfully and was mean to me as a child. But that was because I was the annoying little brother who wouldn’t leave her alone. “
