Steve Meyer Obituary (1957 – 2022) – Green Bay, WI

Steve Michael Meyer, 64, Green Bay, was welcomed in Heaven by his daughter Nikki on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Steve was born on August 2, 1957 in Sheboygan, the son of Michael and Gayle (Degenhardt) Meyer. He was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School with the class of 1975. He then attended UW Madison for 2 years and continued his education at Lakeshore Technical Institute where he met his future wife Vicki Junk. They were married on January 13, 1984. Steve valued education and furthered it at the University of Wisconsin Manitowoc graduating with a BS Degree in Science. He wasn’t done there, for he enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA where he earned his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic graduating with Summa Cum Laude. Steve opened up his own practice in Green Bay. Steve had many interests in life but the most important to him was family and spending time with them. He also had a passion for music and was most fond of classical rock. Steve loved spending time outside and enjoyed gardening. He always gave freely of himself to make sure everyone was taken of before himself. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, a friend to many and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed.
Steve is survived by his wife Vicki: his children: Brent Meyer, Heather Meyer, Brandon Meyer, 5 grandchildren: Mikayla VandeHeyden, Tyler VandeHeyden, Dylan Detrie, Landon Cure and Amelia Beaudry-Meyer, his mother: Gayle Picard, one sister: Theresa (Jeff) Ebersole, two brothers: David Meyer and Mark Meyer. He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter: Nikki, his father: Michael Meyer, his step-father: Carl (David) Picard.
Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Celebration Church, 3475 Humboldt Road. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Gungor officiating. Burial next to Nikki at Woodlawn Cemetery, Allouez.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staffs of Aurora Baycare Medical Center for all of the care and concern. Also, a warm note of appreciation to all of our family and friends for all of your love, care and support- your kindness will never be forgotten.
