Taverns join forces to help Trevor Albrecht Memorial Fund | Local News

A music festival and fundraiser on the 19th. Trevor Albrecht, a 15 year veteran of the Kenosha Police Department who died in a snowmobile accident in January.

The event took place at Coins Sports Bar, 1714 52nd St., and Duke’s Country Saloon, 2324 18th St., both in Kenosha. AES Limousine Service provided a free shuttle for bus participants between the two locations.

Coin owner Tim Gascoigne said the Tavern League of Wisconsin plans to donate a matching fund totaling $ 1,500 in addition to the funds raised during the event.

The memorial fund was founded by friends and family of Albrecht, 41, who left behind his wife and two children aged 7 and 4. Albrecht, a member of the department since 2006, headed the special investigations as a sergeant.

Albrecht also served as a captain in the Army National Guard and was on a tour of Iraq from 2001 to 2010.
