MADISON – The former state Supreme Court Justice who led the Republican investigation into the 2020 election congregation has sent subpoenas to Milwaukee and Green Bay officials, but not Racine officials, requesting information about private donations that they used to perform their elective operations.

Her

Congregation spokesman Robin Vos, R-Rochester, confirmed the news Friday morning but did not say exactly which parishes received the subpoenas. His office did not immediately respond to a request for more information.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman, who leads the Vos-mandated investigation into Joe Biden’s election, issued subpoenas Thursday to Milwaukee Election Commission Executive Director Claire Woodall Vogg and the Green Bay City office worker Celestine Jeffreys. The subpoenas are looking for documents related to grants from the Center for Tech and Civic Life.

This group gave more than $ 10 million to more than 200 communities in Wisconsin last year to help cover election costs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of the money went to the state’s five largest cities – Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Racine, and Kenosha – and was criticized by Republicans for using the money to increase voter turnout in the Democratic Areas.
