After Wednesday’s work, Wright said, one of the men followed the other as they drove. At around 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of Highway H (88th Avenue) and Seventh Street (Highway A) in Somers, the Kenosha man got out of his vehicle and allegedly started shooting a pistol at the other man’s vehicle.

Wright said no one was injured, but the Racine man’s vehicle was shot at. Wright said neighbors in the area reported hearing the gunfire. After the shooting, the Racine man called 911 and the other man drove away.

The Kenosha man was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Department at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday with the help of Kenosha City Police officers who paused a high risk traffic stop on 65th Street of Block 1900 in the Uptown area. He was sent to Kenosha County Jail at around 5 a.m.

According to prison records, the sheriff’s department recommends attempted murder, which ruthlessly compromises safety and aimed a gun at different and disorderly behavior. The suspect is expected to be charged on Friday.
