Professional wrestler, analyst Paul Wight in Milwaukee for All-Elite Wrestling

MILWAUKEE – Paul Wight is a professional wrestler and analyst for all-elite wrestling in town on Wednesday night at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

Now CM Punk should be there. Born in Chicago, he trained at Roufusport in Milwaukee and returned to pro wrestling after a 7-year break – to a thunderous ovation.

“It was beautiful,” says Paul Wight. “For one thing, it was nice after everything the wrestling business and industry and fans went through between the pandemic. Between AEW, this new company that is on the rise. This authentic brand that builds. Being in Milwaukee, you know, like that? great legendary wrestling history. I mean the crusher. You know it’s a great environment to work in Milwaukee and I’m looking forward to it.

Wight also starred in the cult classic “Reggie’s Prayer” with Reggie White, Brett Favre and others 25 years ago. And I had a legendary live shot with him.

“Here we are again in Milwaukee and I’ll see you again, Lance,” says Wight. “So you know, hopefully one day you can interview me and I’ve actually earned some kind of award in the acting world. And if not?

You can tell Wight loves Milwaukee’s wrestling heritage and where professional wrestling is going.
