German students learn new skills at Madison College

Welcome!

Madison College is training/hosting about a dozen applied manufacturing apprenticeship students and staff members from Hessen, Germany this month at the Truax campus.

The partnership program, which is co-sponsored by the UW-Madison Center for German and European Studies, shares best practices in teaching and job skills for advanced carpenters and precision mechanics. The goal of the exchange program is for students to receive hands-on professional training and also a better chance at employment.
